
Qualified barristers can act directly for members of the public without going through a solicitor. This is often a direct, beneficial and cost-effective method of reviewing whether or not litigation will be necessary.
Barrister can also accept instructions on a licensed access bases which allows organisations or individuals that have an identifiable area of expertise or experience to be licenced and instruct barristers directly.
