The Public Institution for Social Security of Kuwait (“PIFSS”) v Al Rajaan & Others, commencing in the Commercial Court in March 2025, is due to be one of the largest fraud trials in the history of the Commercial Court. It is listed for a 42-week trial spanning some 12 months.

PIFSS is bringing a claim against the estate of its former director, the late Mr Al Rajaan, along with over 30 other defendants, for claims under Kuwaiti, Swiss and English law based on allegations concerning bribery and money laundering.
